The Lange Rack is different from other overhead racks for the Jeep®. It was designed to accommodate your hardtop or folding soft top, as well as do a great job with your cargo! No bars running from front to rear to interfere with your top. Sturdy front & rear sections are self-supporting, and feature quick releases to attach & remove each section in seconds. A quick release clamp attaches to existing windshield bolts at the front, and to spare tire at the rear. Perfect for canoes*, kayaks* or even plywood. Made of durable black epoxy painted steel to resist corrosion. Also optional two-bike holder* – mounts bikes vertically – saves bikes from crashing together. Supports up to 150 lb.

Q: When I order The Lange Rack system base can I haul kayaks/canoes/surfboards without purchasing the Large Kayak Option/Small Kayak option?

A: Certainly, but you will need to secure and provide your kayaks/canoes/surfboards with some sort of secure mounting. The Small/and Large Kayak options are a great solution for this.
Q: How much weight can this rack hold?

A: 150 lb.

Q: How does the Rack attach to the vehicle?

A: To existing windshield mounts in the front, and cinches the spare tire in the back using large eye bolts

Q: Is this rack compatible with other manufacturers hardware IE: Thule® Yakima®?

A: Some are compatible. The top mounting brackets come with a 1/2 “ channel for our accessories that are similar to other racks. This doesn’t mean it will work with all accessories. Check before you buy!
